چکیده
Background/aim: Milk fat globule-epidermal growth factor 8 (MFG-E8) is expressed in the endometrial epithelium and its expression increases during implantation process. Due to this knowledge, we aimed investigate maternal serum MFG-E8 levels on both healthy pregnant women first trimester complicated with missed abortion threatened trimester. Materials methods: This prospective, cross-sectional study was conducted a tertiary referral hospital, department of obstetrics between July 2020 February 2021 after ethical committee approval. The population consisted 30 (HP) trimester, suffering from (TA) (MA) Maternal were analyzed enzyme linked immunosorbent assay. Delivery neonatal outcomes evaluated. continuous variables compared among three groups variance analysis post hoc tests. categorical chi-square Fisher's exact tests where applicable. Results: mean age 29.36 ± 5.31 years. There no significant difference for parameters age, body mass index, parity number, gestational week. Despite being within normal ranges, neutrophil international normalized ratio values showed statistically (p < 0.05). MA, TA, HP 270 152.3, 414.7 236.7, 474 222.5 ng/mL, respectively = 0.001). It found that MA group significantly lower than those other two Conclusion: Although level seems be parameter differ live nonlive pregnancies, studies large number cases are needed discuss our results determine cut-off value prediction

First-trimester maternal serum matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) and adverse pregnancy outcome.
OBJECTIVE To investigate the potential value of maternal serum matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) in first-trimester screening for preeclampsia and spontaneous early preterm delivery. METHODS The concentrations of MMP-9, tumour necrosis factor soluble receptor-1 (TNF-R1), pregnancy-associated plasma protein-A (PAPP-A) and uterine artery pulsatility index (UA-PI) were measured at 11(+0) - 13(+...
متن کاملFirst trimester screening can predict adverse pregnancy outcomes.
There has been an increasing drive over the last two decades to push the detection of women at risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes into the first trimester. This has led to a plethora of techniques, risk assessments and biomarkers, both fascinating and bewildering in its breadth. Despite the vast amount of knowledge available, it is often difficult to determine what is practicable and valuable f...

PROBLEM Prior to the end of the first trimester, pathogenic mechanisms may commit pregnancies to adverse outcome such as pre-eclampsia and miscarriage. A long-term search for biomarkers predicting these adverse outcomes has not identified any that reliably succeed prior to the beginning of the second trimester. MicroRNAs, with their important role as regulators of signaling and metabolic pathwa...
